Three stories intertwine as a Venezuelan crew moves in on a high-class burglar’s turf, a frustrated cellist discovers his teenage daughter is being abused, and an urbane black basketball prodigy copes with the sudden loss of his eccentric grandmother. On Christmas Day, they revive their family bonds, one by murder, another by saving a life, and another by sparing one.

Synopsis:

Christmas, Extra Crispy is the story of three gifted people whose ambitions are thisclose to fulfillment, yet at the brink of vanishing. Matthew is a brilliant, obscure cellist whose stunning wife left him for a prominent lawyer. His younger brother Ryan, a leading member of a high-class burglary crew, hankers to paint as well as the masters he steals. And then there’s Malik, the giant who once saved Matthew’s violinist son in a racial incident.

When Matthew finds a spy cam with his nude daughter on it, it’s his criminal brother who saves the nursing home case worker from ruining his life. And on Christmas morning at the prestigious Labor of Love Nursing Home, a Venezuelan ‘aide’ strangles the life out of the leader of Ryan’s crew, until a passing Malik, visiting his grandmother’s best friend, drops his flowers and unwittingly determines the fate of this international crew battle.
