Logline:
Struggling to save both his marriage and his music career, a disillusioned nursing home case worker receives a strange offer from a beloved patient- kill him and create a new life for he and his two gifted children.

Synopsis:
The last thing MATTHEW SHEPHERD, 38, needs is another crisis. Not only did his wife just leave him for a wealthy lawyer, she took the two teenage kids. So when four Black students destroy his son DMITRI’S violin, the struggling cellist is incensed when the protege misses a concert before the governor.
But finding a replacement leads Matthew into a strange, affectionate relationship with EDGAR SOLOMON, 87, a patient who once was a legendary violinist. Now paralyzed by arthritis, his children are abandoning him in this quirky nursing home. Even worse, his son refuses to let him help Matthew’s son.
But when Matthew and Dmitri give a small concert for the home, Solomon is so moved that he’s willing to sacrifice what’s left of his life to the young father and his children.
